Walking Chaos Trilogy by Patrick Ness

So, it seems that lately I'm stuck in the dystopian genre.  I keep picking up dystopian book after dystopian book.  I blame the Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins (which I adore).  So, the next couple of entries will be dystopian books.  All of them, and I mean all of them are great books.  All of them are trilogies.  The first trilogy that I want to talk about (after Matched that I spoke about before) is the Walking Chaos Trilogy by Patrick Ness.  The first book is the Knife of Never Letting Go.  I had a hard time at first with the way that the main character Todd spoke but I got used to it.  Basically, the premise is that Todd is part of a settlement on another planet.  The "noise" which has affected the men (noise meaning you can hear and see a male's thoughts)...and killed the women.  Todd finds out that there is more to it when he finds a girl.  The town goes after Todd and the girl...why and what is the big town secret????  It's a great, great, read full of action.

Library Chick Rating:  Omelet...great read...(there is some violence and language)
